Queens Park NW6 -
is a wonderfully unique area with a quiet village feel with independent bars, cafes and restaurants located on its main road; Salusbury Road.  Salusbury Road borders Willesden Lane Cemetery opposite Tennyson Road - where Queen's Park really begins. Centrally located with no more than 10 minutes to Oxford Street, Queens Park is surrounded by Kensal Rise to the West, Kilburn to the East, Brondesbury Park to its North, and Maida Vale and Notting Hill to its South.

Queens Park NW6 is a relatively small area and was traditionally considered part of Kilburn.  However, Queens Park has very a different feel to Kilburn and more in common with Kensal Rise and West Hampstead. Salusbury Road is getting increasingly trendy and sophisticated with cafes, restaurants, wine bars, and brassieres.

The park itself is extremely well kept and clean and has everything a good park should have; a small golf course, tennis courts, a flower garden, kids play area, band stand, a small kids animal farm and a cafe with inside and outside seating areas. On any given sunny day or even an overcast weekend you will find lots of young families and couples. The closer you get to the park the higher price the property commands.

Queens Park Transport

Queens Park is spoilt for its transport. It’s linked up very well with buses like the number 6 running day and night into Marble Arch. Queens Park tube station is still in Zone 2 serviced by the Bakerloo line and overland running from Watford Junction to Euston. Just up the road, 11 min walk from Queens Park tube station you will find Brondesbury Park station.

Queens Park Property

Queens Park offers beautiful late Victorian terraced houses on tree-lined streets, pretty two bed terraced cottages and Edwardian Mansion blocks containing spacious flats.  Queens Park is becoming increasingly popular, so all things being equal, prices in the area should continue on a steady rise.
